Colorado Recreation

Residents and tourists of Colorado enjoy the beautiful outdoors year round. We get an average of 300 days of sunshine per year.

Our weather is moderate in both the Winter and Summer. I took the first photo at Rainbow Falls which is about 40 minutes west of Colorado Springs. I took it in March, so you can see how beautiful it stays year round. The second photo was shot in March as well up near Peregrine, which is a subdivision on the northwest side of the city.

If camping, hiking, fishing, hunting or skiing are your "thing", then you have found the spot for all of that. There are many state parks to enjoy. Here is a link to our forest service:
